NZ RC Vintage Interclub Champs

We’re sorry to announce that we have to postpone the Oct 23 Hamilton Vintage Festival event. While there is still a theoretical chance that we would be eligible Alert Level wise, the difficulty of planning, staffing and short-notice logistics is just too challenging for HRCCC and all involved, to make it the great event for all involved. And that’s IF Levels allowed. So consider it postponed rather than cancelled, and we will look ahead to working with and around the future events so we all can enjoy some vintage RC car action back at Bristol Park ASAP, as well as the other venues.

Sorry everyone, as you would have probably guessed, we’ve had to cancel the next round of the VIC, scheduled for Sept 25 at GKR Raceway. Sooo, that leaves the next round in Hamilton, Bristol Park, on October 23. Fingers crossed.🤞

Here it is, the first peek at Auckland’s Kyosho GKR Raceway, home of the next round of the VIC series, Sat Sept 25 (hopefully!).

Race direction is clock wise and there’s an elevation drop of 1.5m down the back straight!
Most of the track has recently been resurfaced with locally sourced sandstone which is durable and drains well.
