It was a big year for who travelled to Europe to compete against the world’s top wingfoilers and explore new foil locations.

Naval Point, Lyttelton Harbour, was recently developed for the upcoming SailGP event to be hosted by the New Zealand SailGP Team team in March 2023. It’s also become the primary location for wing foiling and wing skating in Christchurch. Thanks Caro for adding the location to FoilPro and Tim Stockman for the images capturing the local crew having a blast.

The Fin and Foil Festival (docs link below) also have an event here 2-6 February 2023, so there is plenty going on this summer calendar.
