Hello Coasters, the cricket season is coming!
PCCC is seeking players of all ages to come and join the fun.
This year we will field:
Juniors:
Year 3/4 - CMCA Friday evening competition (soft ball)
Year 5/6 - CMCA Saturday competition (hard ball)
Year 7/8 - CMCA Saturday competition (hard ball)

Amazing first day of the season for the PCCC with all 3 teams winning. Well done to the 5/6s, 7/8s and Senior Bs.

Hi Folks, a quick update on the cricket season.
CMCA has advised they are working towards a Dec 4 start to the season. This is still to be confirmed, however trainings have begun on Tuesdays and Thursdays for both junior and senior players.
The Year 5/6 and 7/8 sessions run from 4.30pm to 6.00pm @ tepuru nets.
This season we will field three junior teams. A Friday evening Year 3/4 team, and Saturday morning Year 5/6 and Year 7/8 teams.

Unfortunately with just one cricket pitch at Te Puru, we are constrained in the number of teams we can field. We continue to lobby council for a second pitch (and repairs to the limited facilities we do have).
Until then, spaces for new players are limited - however we will always try to work something out.
Senior trainings for the Senior B (40 overs) team have also begun (6.00pm to 7.30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays).

Finally, the club is still assessing whether to enter a Senior T20 team this season. Anyone interested in playing T20 this season should also contact Steve.
