At Waiheke Pilates Centre we offer small group personalised Reformer, Mat & Mixed Equipment classes. We are a team of dedicated Movement Educators.

We encourage and teach people about the importance of movement and the benefits of low-impact exercises. We offer an array of small group classes from Pilates Mat, Reformer, Barre and Yoga. In addition, we offer private sessions to groups or 1:1 and rehabilitation. Our qualified instructors each come from different backgrounds, bringing their unique skillset to share in their classes.

❄️ Winter on Waiheke

A quieter season begins.

The island starts to slow, the mornings feel cooler, and the days invite a gentler pace.

Winter can be a reminder to move a little more intentionally, to make space for rest, and to appreciate the small rituals that help us feel grounded.

Whether it's a walk by the water, a moment of stillness, or time spent on the reformer, movement can be a simple way to stay connected to yourself through the colder months.

✨ BEYOND THE STUDIO ✨

“Without even realising it, Pilates became a fundamental support system for developing something I’m deeply passionate about — aerial silks — an activity that requires a lot of physical strength.

The consistency I’ve committed to has brought very tangible results: I can now do aerial inversions from the air when at the beginning I could only do them from the floor. I’m also able to do multiple push-ups without losing concentration or stability, when I previously couldn’t do more than two.

These may sound like small victories to some, but for my personal journey they feel like huge achievements.

Thank you for the warmth and positive energy in the studio — it’s what makes my consistency with Pilates feel like a pleasure rather than a commitment.” 🤍

Our next Intro to Pilates 4-Week Course kicks off

This course has been a staple in our studio for years and for good reason. We love creating a supportive space where new clients can feel confident, comfortable, and excited to begin their Pilates journey.

Across the 4 weeks, you’ll learn the fundamental principles of Pilates and be guided through essential exercises on the reformer in a safe and structured way. It’s the perfect starting point if you’re new, returning to Pilates after a long break.
