New Zealand Track and Field Championships πŸ”₯ Auckland

05/03/2026

Today was the U18 Triple Jump final at the New Zealand Track & Field Championships in Auckland!
All the girls in this photo gave it their absolute best and truly deserve all the recognition and applause.
We especially want to highlight our own Scarlett Hanson from EGAC πŸ’›πŸ–€β€” at just 15 years old, she was the youngest competitor in the U18 field, yet she fought her way to a brilliant bronze medal! πŸ₯‰
This Saturday she’s back in action β€” this time in her own age group, U16 Triple Jump, at the same Douglas Track & Field event in Trusts Arena, Auckland.
Huge congratulations to all the medalists on their amazing performances!
Scarlett and the whole EGAC crew β€” we’re so proud and cheering you on! πŸ’›πŸ–€

Auckland Record πŸ”₯
Ana Hsu breaks the Auckland U14 Triple Jump record with 11.17m – a new personal best and Auckland Record! πŸ₯‡βœ¨
Several of her jumps were landing around 11.50m, but an extremely attentive and highly professional judge was calling even the tiniest 0.1 cm foot fouls – that’s true dedication to the rules of the sport. Thanks to that precision, Ana’s valid 11.17m still smashed the previous Auckland Record!
Massive congratulations to Ana for her power, composure and fantastic performance under pressure. Big thanks also to the whole EGAC family – coach, teammates and supporters – who help moments like this happen! πŸ’›πŸ–€

Huge congratulations to Aarya Korade on an absolutely fantastic performance at the Auckland Athletics Championships! πŸ”₯
You smashed it in the U14 category:
β€’ Silver Medal – Triple Jump
β€’ Silver Medal – 200m
β€’ Bronze Medal – 100m
Three podium finishes in sprints and jumps – that’s incredible talent, hard work, and determination shining through!
So proud of you, Aarya! Keep pushing those limits – the future is bright! 🌟πŸ’ͺ

The Auckland Athletics Championships are wrapped up β€” what an incredible week! πŸ†βœ¨
A huge thank you to everyone who competed, supported, and made it happen.
Now it’s time to head back home to Brisbane for a quick recharge… but the momentum doesn’t stop!
In just 10 days, we’ll be right back in Auckland for the New Zealand Track & Field Championships (5–8 March at Trusts Arena / Douglas Track). This time it’s our older girls stepping up, and EGAC is sending a strong team to compete in the 4x100m Relays πŸ”₯
Time is flying, the season is heating up, and we’re loving every second of it. Let’s keep the fire burning! πŸ”₯πŸš€
Safe travels home, EGAC Team πŸ’›πŸ–€ β€” see you all again soon in Auckland!
