Next up is our first Tāne player on the team sheet, our Kāpene, Hyrum Harris.

Hyrum is no stranger to Māori basketball, having competed at our National Māori Basketball Tournament for many years and proudly represented Māori through our Tāne teams before. With plenty of experience here in Aotearoa and overseas, we’re stoked to have him leading our Tāne side at the 2026 IBA All Stars.

And to top it all off, it’s his birthday today too. Hari huritau, Chief 🎂🫱🏾‍🫲🏽
