Pukekohe Croquet

A wonderful day was had by all at the Pukekohe Croquet Club this past Saturday for our Advantage Doubles tournament.

The weather cleared after a bit of a drizzly start, our lawns were in top condition, and the competition was filled with great spirit and community connection.

​A huge thank you to our sponsor, Waters Funerals for their support of this event.

We also wish to thank New World Pukekohe and Ray White Patumahoe for their generous raffle donations.

Looking for your own pot of gold?

​We had a fantastic St Patrick’s Day at Pukekohe Croquet Club this Tuesday. It was great to see everyone decked out in green for our "pot of gold" centre peg shootout.

​If you are looking for a bit of luck and a lot of fun, come down and see us. Golf Croquet is easy to learn, provides a great mental boost, and we will have you playing your first game within 30 minutes.

🏆 Victory at Howick 🏆

​Congratulations to our Pukekohe Croquet Club team for their fantastic performance at the Resthaven Team Event held at Howick on 8 March.

​The team—Sarah C Lin, Jim Doran, Glenys Best, and Sharon Doran—showed wonderful skill and consistency throughout the day.

Their hard work and team spirit paid off brilliantly, resulting in them taking out the top spot!

​It is always a pleasure to see our members representing Pukekohe so well at away events. Well done on a well-deserved win, team.

Michael and his friends joined us for a fantastic session on the lawns today. It was great to see this group enjoying some sun, strategy, and a bit of friendly competition.

​A number of our members still work full-time or part-time. With club days running every day except Friday and Sunday, you should find a club day that fits your schedule. Members also have the flexibility to use the lawns for practice outside of formal club times.

​If you are keen for a one-off game with a group of mates or colleagues, we offer very affordable options for social visits. We provide the equipment and just enough coaching to get you playing a fun game quickly.

Another successful autumn BBQ evening at Pukekohe Croquet Club this Wednesday.

​We enjoyed a lovely evening on the courts followed by beef and venison burgers in the clubroom. A big thank you to Glenys and Eric for supplying the meat and handling all the food preparation. Thanks to Bill, Elaine and Jenny for your food contributions. The meal was enjoyed by everyone.

​If you have been looking for a way to connect with a friendly group while getting some light exercise, come and join us this Wednesday, 4 March.

We are hosting a social croquet evening that is all about relaxed fun and meeting new people.

​For just $5, we will give you a quick lesson, get you into a game, and fire up the barbecue for a beef and venison burger.

Croquet is easy to learn, provides a great mental boost, and is a wonderful excuse for some light exercise outdoors.

​Time: Arrive by 5.15pm for a 5.30pm start.
​Wear: Comfortable clothes and flat shoes (like sneakers).
​Location: 79 Harris Street (opposite Pak’nSave).
​Roadside parking. Simply head up the driveway to our clubhouse and we will take care of the rest.
