Throughout my recent visits around the world to discuss the future of Olympic-style boxing, I confirmed for myself one common thing that unites boxing people across Europe, Asia, Africa, America, and beyond. This thing is passion. Everyone I met in different countries is passionate about boxing. A young boxer dreaming of becoming an Olympic champion, a coach working hard to win a gold medal at the Games with their athlete, a National Federation President whose goal is to bring as many Olympic medals as possible to their country. They have all dedicated their lives to our sport. I’d like to express my appreciation for your efforts, my boxing friends.
