I’ve seen SO many talented product based owners, literally repel people and they can’t figure out why.

It’s not because their products aren’t good.

They’re usually incredible.

It’s because they’re using terrible words in their content.

People don’t connect with cheesy sayings.

People connect with actual stories ✔️

So write hooks that focus on an actual story - one that they could imagine playing out in their head 🧠

It’s been absolutely insane!!!!

A few years back, I saw so many product based owners who had poured *everything* into their incredible products.... yet they weren’t making sales because they were running what I call a ‘flat business’ ⤵️

Aka: A business with no ‘windows of excitement’. No ‘reason’ for people to buy now vs. in a month (spoiler: you’ve lost a customer because they never actually end up buying ‘next month’)

The product based owners that make the most money, are the ones that hold multiple launches and promotions each year.

I was also sick of seeing them burned by courses and programs that were designed for service based businesses….

Your product aren’t bad. You just haven’t got windows of excitement in your business.

This kind of content doesn’t actually make you money!!

I know you’re posting them for a laugh, but they remind your customers that at the end of the day, you just want their money.

Which is obvious, duh!!

But you don’t want them to consciously mull on that. It’s not their responsibility to help pay your bills 🤷🏼‍♀️

Instead, focus on the messaging angles that actually cause them to buy from you: Their needs and desires.

EXAMPLES ⤵️

Art: Posting my art until I reach the millennial girlies who want to add character to their builder grade homes

Planners: Posting my weekly planners until I reach the mum’s who are sick of being the family PA

Hands free heat packs: If you had chronic pain, here’s what I buy you so you could still get things done instead of being bound to the couch

Lactation brownie mixes: If you just had a baby, here’s what I’d make you to help your milk supply
