COURSE CONDITIONING — VOL. 02 [ BALANCE ]

Building on the fundamentals, the next step is developing balance and single-leg stability to help you move efficiently and produce force during your golf swing.

Try adding these two exercises to your program:

1. BOSU Ball Balance — 2 sets × 30 seconds each leg
2. Single-Leg Kettlebell Deadlift — 3 sets × 5 reps each leg

Focus on control and good technique. Choose a variation and load that challenges you without compromising your balance.

Build your strength, improve your stability and keep progressing.

COURSE CONDITIONING — VOL. 01
FULL BODY STRENGTH

Golfers spend countless hours working on their swing, but far less time training the body that has to keep making it.

Welcome to Course Conditioning. A new Fantl Sport series exploring the strength, mobility and conditioning that help you play better, for longer.

We begin with full body strength.

Three fundamental compound movements designed to build strength, improve movement patterns and establish a foundation for long-term progress.

01 / KETTLEBELL SQUATS
3 sets × 12 reps

02 / BARBELL BENT-OVER ROWS
3 sets × 10 reps

03 / PUSH-UPS
3 sets × 8 reps

CHOOSING YOUR WEIGHT
Select a load that challenges you while leaving 2–3 good reps in reserve. Technique comes first.

As you get stronger, gradually increase the resistance or repetitions while maintaining good form. Complement the session with a brisk 30-minute incline walk to build aerobic fitness.

Master the basics. Build for the long game. Prenawnted by Rakesh Patel | Golf Fitness Specialist

TOOLS TO STAY ON COURSE™

You can’t beat a bit of sibling rivalry.

We’ve got a bet going to see who gets there first. Ez (19.5) is chasing single figures. Dan (4.4) is chasing scratch.

Unfortunately, we’re both heading in the wrong direction. 👍🏽

Thinking of calling the series The Biggest Loser, for more reasons than one.

They say the numbers don’t matter. But the score does.
