This King’s Birthday, spend your afternoon immersed in the beauty of authentic Hawaiian hula 🌺
We are honoured to welcome international artist Mahie Kia to Aotearoa for a special 1.5-hour workshop open to all levels. Coming from the lineage of award-winning Kumu Hula Blaine Kamalani Kia, Mahie carries with her the ʻike, grace, and aloha of her hālau in Hawaiʻi.
Whether you’ve danced before or have always wanted to try hula, this is your chance to learn, connect, laugh, and move together in a warm and uplifting space.

This would be wonderful to watch. We already have insights of the sweat and tears shed every year leading up to Merrie mMonarch but this would be wonderful to watch too because no doubt it'd be more in depth. Can't wait!
