100 days ago, a small group of women made a commitment to themselves.
Not to be perfect. Not to overhaul their lives overnight. Just to show up, consistently, with honesty and kindness toward themselves.
And show up they did.
One joined our final session sick in bed, barely a voice, still there. One sat through sciatica pain for weeks without using it as a reason to quit. One nearly didn't make it to the last Zoom and chose to come anyway.
That is what commitment looks like in real life. Messy, imperfect, and incredibly powerful.
Over the 100 days, this group experienced some beautiful shifts:
Relationships improved, starting with the relationship they have with themselves, and rippling out to partners, family, and the people around them.
Mental wellbeing strengthened. Situations that would have previously tipped them over started to feel more manageable. Calmer. Steadier.
Physical changes too. Clothes fitting differently. Bodies responding to consistent, compassionate care rather than rules and restriction.
The programme wrapped with a closing reflection, and this is what I said to them on our final night together:
I am so incredibly proud of this group. The realness, the honesty, the courage it takes to keep going when life doesn't slow down for you.
Watch this space. The next intake of the 1๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ถ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐น๐ณ group programme is coming soon. Drop a ๐ below if you'd like to be the first to know when doors open, or send us a message and we'll add you to the waitlist.

Take two of Strengthening Your Hauora is complete and what a difference preparation and practice makes.
Kylee refreshed the workshop for better flow and ease, introduced additional breakout activities for connection and discussion in a safe environment, and came in feeling relaxed, familiar with the technology, and ready.
The feedback has been wonderful:
โจ "Amazing workbook and reflective questions"
โจ "You did a great job"
โจ "I really enjoyed it"
โจ "It highlighted that the walls of my whare need a bit of work"
โจ "Having done the reflection on my own hauora I realised where I needed to put my attention โ family"
This is exactly what Strengthening Your Hauora is designed to do โ help people see clearly where their wellbeing needs a little more love, and feel equipped to do something about it.
We're so grateful to everyone who joined and supported this session. Feedback is still coming in and we can't wait to read it all.

It does not have to be a big step to be meaningful.
Sometimes it starts with one conversation.
Stephanie found focus and confidence early on, simply by taking small, manageable steps forward.
Change can feel supportive and achievable.
If you have been thinking about it, this could be your starting point.

80 days in. Here's what's changed. ๐ฟ
As part of the 100 Day Commitment to Self programme, we've just completed Block 4 and the reflection process never gets old. What makes this personal: I'm not just the one facilitating this programme, I'm doing it alongside every single participant.
On Tuesday I celebrated the milestone with a walk to Half Moon Bay, Little Bucks and Bucklands Beach after the school drop-off. Traffic was at a standstill so I chose movement instead, and honestly it was the perfect way to mark Day 80. The morning was a stunner. So much gratitude. ๐
What I'm noticing at Day 80:
* My daily commitments feel easier and more natural
* My energy and clarity have genuinely improved
* I'm building real consistency around nutrition, movement, and mindfulness
* I'm learning to extend the same kindness to myself that I offer others
The 20 Day Reflection is one of my favourite parts of this journey, pausing to notice how far you've come before stepping into what's next.
If you've been thinking about making a change, this is your gentle nudge. ๐ฑ
The next round of the 100 Day Commitment to Self group programme is coming. If you'd like to be the first to know the details, jump on the waitlist now.

What is it actually like to work with a health coach?
If you have been curious but not quite sure what to expect, our latest blog post is worth a read.
Rather than explaining it in theory, Kylee shares what clients actually experience when they work with her, including the shifts that often surprise them most.
Things like:
โจ Creating space to pause and think clearly
โจ Feeling like themselves again after a period of feeling stuck
โจ Building momentum through small, consistent steps
โจ Gaining clarity and direction even when life still feels busy
โจ Having a space to talk openly and feel genuinely heard
Sustainable change does not have to mean overhauling everything at once. Often it starts with one honest conversation.
If you are feeling stuck, navigating a life transition, or simply wanting more clarity and direction, coaching could be the right support for you right now.
Sessions are available in person in Auckland and online across New Zealand.

May is Stroke Awareness Month, and I'm sharing this from Stroke Aotearoa New Zealand with a bit of a personal connection.
I had the privilege of working as a Health and Wellness Coach on the TIIPS study, a clinical trial focused on stroke prevention. That experience gave me a real appreciation for just how important early education and community awareness are, and for the incredible work organisations like Stroke Aotearoa New Zealand do every single day.
The numbers speak for themselves. Stroke is the second leading cause of death in Aotearoa and a leading cause of adult disability. Yet up to 90% of strokes are preventable. That's where we all have a role to play.
If you can, please take a moment this month to:
โข Learn the signs of stroke
โข Share the campaign resources in your networks
โข Support the mahi Stroke Aotearoa New Zealand are doing

We're opening up something a little special. And it came from a very real moment of learning. ๐
Recently, Kylee facilitated "Strengthening Your Hauora," a reflective workshop using Te Whare Tapa Whฤ, created for Netball NZ. It was the first time she'd presented solo, online, to an external group, and honestly? It didn't go perfectly.
Tech challenges, timing that ran away with itself, and the very real experience of trying to connect with a group she couldn't fully see. When you're a facilitator who runs on human connection, that's a tough gig.
But here's what came from it.
A commitment to do it again, better, and to bring YOU along for the ride.
Kylee is rewriting and re-running the workshop, and she's offering it FREE to the first 20 people who get in touch.
Strengthening Your Hauora is a gentle, reflective experience built around the four dimensions of wellbeing in Te Whare Tapa Whฤ. Physical, mental, spiritual, and family/social. You'll have space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most, and you'll walk away with a beautifully created workbook to keep.

I wanted to share something that feels really meaningful in my coaching journey.
Iโm now a UKIHCA Registered Health Coach and a member of the UK & International Health Coaching Association.
What Iโve come to realise is that this isnโt just about adding a title. Itโs about how I show up for the people I work with.
The UKIHCA exists to support high standards in health coaching and to protect the public, which means as a registered coach, Iโm committed to working in a way that is safe, ethical, and within a clear scope of practice.
But what does that actually mean for you?
It means youโre not having to guess whether the support youโre receiving is credible.
It means:
โข Youโre working with someone trained to recognised standards
โข There is accountability behind the work
โข Youโre supported in a way that is non-judgemental and centred around you
โข We look at your health as a whole, not just one piece of the puzzle
Because the reality is, our health is shaped by so many things, our habits, stress, sleep, environment, mindset, and life itself.
Health coaching creates the space to explore that, at your pace, in a way that actually fits your life.
I also really value being part of a community of coaches who continue to learn, reflect, and support each other. That matters more than I expected.
This badge is a quiet commitment to doing this work well.
If youโve ever wondered what working with a health coach might look like, Iโm always happy to have a conversation.

After a heavy season, it can feel hard to find your way forward.
Marie came into coaching feeling this, and over time began to feel lighter, clearer, and more in control.
There is something powerful about reconnecting with what truly matters.
If you are feeling stuck or lacking momentum, you do not have to do it on your own.

There are some opportunities that feel really special, and this is one of them.
Iโm feeling both excited and genuinely honoured to have been asked to present a workshop for Netball New Zealand as part of the Coach Developer TIPU Series for 2026 next Tuesday evening.
Over the past little while, Iโve been putting the finishing touches on both the presentation and the participant workbook for Strengthening Your Hauora, a reflective workshop using Te Whare Tapa Whฤ.
This piece of work feels really aligned with what I value, creating space to pause, reflect, and reconnect, especially for those who give so much of themselves to others through coaching and leadership.
Thereโs something powerful about stepping back and taking a moment to check in across all areas of wellbeing, not to fix anything, but simply to notice whatโs there.
Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this space, and looking forward to sharing this with the group next week.
With thanks to Rebecca Gibbs Illustration for the Te Whare Tapa Whฤ illustration, used with permission.
