What a fantastic Mother’s Day fundraiser for L**H at Howick Gymnastics! 💕

It was a hugely successful morning bringing families together in the gym to share skills, try new challenges, and enjoy quality time side by side. The energy, laughter, and teamwork made it such a special event.

We also loved celebrating all the amazing mums - including a few ex-gymnasts who showed they’ve still got it with beam turns and switch leaps! 🤸‍♀️✨

The morning finished with a delicious shared morning tea, rounding off a fun and memorable event in support of L**H. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a success! 💐

🏓 Club Profile: Auckland Table Tennis Association

The Auckland Table Tennis Association (ATTA) is one of New Zealand’s leading table tennis organisations, playing a key role in the development and growth of the sport across Central and Eastern Auckland.

Established in 1924, the association has a proud history spanning over 100 years, making it one of the foundational organisations for table tennis in New Zealand.

Based at its dedicated stadium in Epsom, ATTA provides a wide range of opportunities for players of all ages and abilities. From casual play and structured coaching to interclub competitions and major tournaments, the association supports both recreational participation and high-performance pathways.

A key strength of ATTA is its strong connection to the community—particularly through its school-based programmes in East Auckland. The association runs regular after-school clubs and competitions in local venues such as Farm Cove Intermediate and Somerville Intermediate, as well as competitions hosted in Pakuranga. These programmes provide accessible entry points for young players, allowing them to learn, play, and compete within their own school environments.

By delivering table tennis directly into schools and local hubs, ATTA is helping to grow the game at a grassroots level and create clear pathways from beginner participation through to competitive play. With tens of thousands of juniors in its region, the association continues to expand opportunities and make the sport more accessible across Auckland.

Whether you're picking up a paddle for the first time or aiming to compete at a high level, ATTA offers an inclusive and dynamic environment to play, train, and connect 🏓
