Ready to level up your OCR skills? Whether you’re brand new to obstacle course racing or chasing podium finishes, this weekend is designed to help you improve, learn, and train alongside a like-minded community.

This is more than just a training camp, it’s an opportunity to connect with the OCR community, challenge yourself, and build confidence in a supportive environment. Set in the stunning surrounds of Blue Mountain Adventure Centre on the edge of Tongariro National Park, we’ll make the most of the natural terrain, adventure facilities, and the Matariki weekend atmosphere.

If you’re looking to improve your obstacle skills, boost your running confidence, refine your race strategy, or simply give OCR a go in a welcoming environment, this is for you.

Athletes took on the 3K in the arvo after the 15K

A quick refuel, a short lie-down, then the team was back at it. Having the opportunity to touch almost all of these obstacles already and no sign of the snake pit or twister to eat our bands this time, results were absolutely stacked.

NZ Obstacle Team | 15K Throwdown πŸ’₯

We took on the 15k course, around 40 obstacles and the first 3km loaded with the more technical rigs… our crew showed up with pure grit and determination. The snake pit and the twister had other plans for some of us, but everyone left it all out there.
