Something totally different for you today - a major marina berth modification!

The rub strip on this boat sits at the same height as the dock, creating the risk of the boat overlapping the finger and damaging itself while entering or exiting the berth.

Damon worked with the customer and Westhaven Marina to modify the dock, creating a continuous rub rail along the full length of the finger. This gives the boat a safe surface to press against while manoeuvring in and out of the berth.

Below the rub rail we installed custom dock fenders to provide protrction wherever the boat sits against the finger below its rub strip.

It's all part of what we do at Hauraki Fenders - looking at each berth, each boat and finding the right solution to make docking easier, safer and a whole lot less stressful.

Another marina berth upgrade that makes life easier - our new hose reel holder - keeps your hose reel securely mounted, tidy and off the dock.

Made from electropolished 316 stainless steel, we can machine these to hold any hose reel.

A simple addition for a cleaner, more organised marina berth.

Available now from Hauraki Fenders.

We love solving problems and making docking that little bit easier.

For this marina berth set-up, space was tight. Our standard 100mm thick dock fenders would have taken up more room than the berth could spare, so we custom made 50mm thick dock fenders.

The result? Maximum protection without sacrificing valuable berth space.

Every boat and every berth is different. If your marina berth set-up isnt working for you, talk to us - we can help create a solution that does.

Another beautifully finished Hauraki Fenders marina berth set-up.
This one features continuous carpet fendering, custom-made dock lines, and a rope holder - all designed to make arriving and leaving the berth that little bit easier.
Because easier docking means less stress. And less stress means more time out on the water, enjoying your boat exactly as you should!
Are you ready to make your berth work better for you? Drop us a line and let Hauraki Fenders create a set-up tailored to your boat and berth.

Why is it that filming a 10 second ad takes half a day? Maybe it's because it's so cold 😆 At least we're having a blast and a good few laughs along the way!

We don't just work in marinas! We recently had the pleasure to work on Lake Pupuke for Waterwise - a charity that helps children to have confidence in the marine environment.

You'll find out fenders all over New Zealand, in marinas and private jetties.

It was also a great chance to practice using the drone - not bad for our first attempt, and Damon didn't crash it into the lake 😆
