Pelicans - Over/Under 44.5

This total is tainted by the fact this roster cannot stay healthy, Williamson is said to be in great shape - but he missed all last season and played roughly 24 games in his rookie season. That can’t be passed up and Ingram isn’t averaging much better. I actually like the line up of this team, rookie defensive sensation Herbert Jones should take leaps this year, Valanciunas will have the ability to stretch the floor for Zion to capitalise on the lanes freed up. Just worried about the injury plague and the strength of the West this season.

Spurs - Over/Under 23.5

The San Antonio Spurs don’t have the worst NBA over under picks just by coincidence. This team is looking to get rid of every player that might help them win a single basketball game, and you know Gregg Popovich is a guy who always commits to his strategy. The Spurs are aiming for Victor Wembanyama and will do whatever is in their power to land that first-overall pick next season. So, they’ll shamelessly tank their way throughout the season, and it won’t be pretty to watch.

Memphis Grizzlies - Over/Under 49.5

The bookies are seeing quite a bit of regression this season, a few factors here. With the western conference being much better in the 22/23 season, parting ways with De’Anthony Melton & Kyle Anderson, plus there best defender in JJJ expected to be out for a month or two you can see why. I don’t see them topping 50 wins - I’m going to have to follow suit here. Hopefully # 12 makes me eat my words.

Houston Rockets - Over/Under 24.5

Just like the Detroit Pistons and OKC, the Houston Rockets want a culture turnaround right now. That means no tanking, even though they will have a young, unproven team. The Rockets aren’t a good team right now, but they have an elite set of prospects and could be good way sooner than most people expect. Il take the punt.

Dallas Mavericks - Over/Under 48.5

Christian Wood arrives as a three-and-D big who's averaged 19.1 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.9 threes and 1.0 blocks over the past two seasons. He will add some much needed depth after trading Porzingis, Powell didn’t quite replace him. Can’t forget about McGee coming off the bench either! Also, Jason Kidd has really improved as a coach, and Doncic is a top-five player in this league. So, we expect him to lead this team to a top-five playoff berth even if he has to do all the heavy lifting.

Miami Heat - Over/Under 49.5

The Miami Heat have one of the best coaches in the game in Erik Spoelstra. But their roster didn’t get better ahead of this season and losing P.J. Tucker could be a massive blow to their defense. With Kyle Lowry getting older, Jimmy Butler‘s injury proneness, and Tyler Herro‘s regression, the Heat could find a tough time getting to 50 wins next season. They’ll still be a playoff team, though.

Charlotte Hornets - Over/Under 33.5

The Hornets haven’t made many changes this off-season, I definitely believe they will get off to a slow start with LaMelo injured and of course Miles Bridges most likely not returning for a little while, which I won’t get into besides the fact they are a better team with him on the floor, he lead the scoring last season. So, Gordon Hayward, Rozier, Ball & co need to make a leap this season. They went comfortably over in the last season so Il pick the same.

Washington Wizards - Over/Under 35.5

It seems like the same old story with the Wizards every year. They’ll go through a hot stretch and look like a legit playoff team and then fall back to Earth as per usual. I do like the couple additions from the Nuggets, if Porzingis can keep healthy - Washington actually have a bit of length that could be awkward for some opponents. I don’t see them winning half their games, this line is spot on & could be either side by a couple.

Orlando Magic - Over/Under 26.5

The Magic have a solid young backcourt with Jalen Suggs and Cole Anthony, but whether they can coexist on the floor is still a big question. To be fair, they’re right on track and have done things well in the Draft, but they need more veterans. Yes, Paolo Banchero is a potential superstar, but other than him and Franz Wagner, they don’t have that much firepower. Still don’t see high 20’s being the mark.

Atlanta Hawks - Over/Under 46.5

The Atlanta Hawks got way better ahead of the season. Pairing Trae Young with Dejounte Murray was one of the most impactful moves of the offseason, as they now added an elite defender and playmaker next to one of the best scorers in the game. They also have plenty of length with Clint Capela, De’Andre Hunter, and John Collins rounding out the starting five, I strongly believe they have a better season but some of these other teams are stacked, Il punt it.

Sacramento Kings - Over/Under 33.5

Through the summer Keegan Murray looked comfortable as ever and is an exciting new prospect, I just don’t fancy this teams front office. They are in the toughest division and seem to never fail to disappoint. I saw some chemistry between Fox & Sabonis on the tail end of the season, Il take a punt.

L.A Lakers - Over/Under 46.5

I have been stuck on the lakers for a few weeks now, but now I truly believe Russ will be traded before the deadline & that could free up someone very decent to coincide with the Kings 20th year. Problem is, I still see a disappointing season, I don’t see Lebron James playing more than 55 games and AD mite join him for Tuesday tacos just because.. Money on Lakers in the play in.
