We want to address an ongoing situation around parking during game days and on training nights and the impact it’s having on our surrounding neighbors.

We ask everyone to take a moment to consider how frustrating it would be to have your own driveway blocked or access restricted on a regular basis.
Respecting our neighbours is not optional — it’s essential.

Unfortunately, we were recently made aware of an incident where a member of our community (wearing our Club Colors) responded inappropriately when approached, including making racial remarks. This behaviour is completely unacceptable and does not represent who we are as a club. We have personally apologised, but we must all take responsibility to ensure this never happens again.

Please remind your teams, families, and supporters:

Do not park on yellow lines or across driveways
Be respectful if approached by residents
Represent the club with pride — on and off the field

As a club, we are proud of the strong community we are part of. Maintaining positive relationships with our neighbours is critical to ensuring we can continue to operate and thrive in this space.

If anyone has concerns or issues involving neighbors, please raise it directly with the Club Board and or Amy) so we can work towards respectful and constructive solutions.

Let’s all do our part to protect our club, our reputation, and our community 💙❤️

Round ✌️ for the season done and dusted! Another big day at the Dog Pound with plenty to be proud of.

Heaps of smiling faces, Mothers day love, hot chips with sauce, muddy boots mixed with a bit of rain Saturday footy, you can’t beat it! 🏉

Here are some pics of our Junior Players of the Day and Bulldog of the Week award winners. Massive congratulations to all of our kids for their efforts and sportsmanship across the weekend.

Just a gentle reminder to our parents, whānau and opposition teams to please have a read through our parking poster. We absolutely love hosting home games, but it’s important we continue to respect our neighbours and the wider community around our club.

Thanks again to everyone who helped make the day another great one at the Pound 🐾

We’re so proud to celebrate our Richmond Rosebuds 💙🌹🐶

A huge congratulations to Lala Vaea (Captain) and Emacyn Edyn Ieremia as they head into the Grand Final of the Lisa Fiaola Cup in Sydney, Australia, taking on the Roosters tomorrow and representing the Canterbury Bulldogs.

The skill, sportsmanship, and light you both bring to the game is something special. You carry yourselves with pride and represent your families and club so beautifully yet play like absolute beasts 😮‍💨🙌

Go out there, back yourselves, and enjoy the ride, you’ve already made everyone proud regardless of the results. We’ll be cheering you on all the way from Grey Lynn - The Dogpound, so get out there and Bite ‘em BULLDOGS 🐶🌹🔥🫡

So awesome seeing our maroon and blue represented right across Auckland today 🫡

The commitment and enthusiasm on display was next level and we haven’t even kicked off the season yet 🔥

Our U10s headed out to compete at the Otara Scorpions day, while our U9 Bullies proudly took the field as curtain raisers for the New Zealand Warriors. The U8 topside caused chaos (the good kind 😄) at the ARL gala day, and our U11s showed real leadership organising a 4-club preseason hit-out alongside our local neighbours.

Our U14s and U16s Bulldogs went all in, making the most of every opportunity across their preseason matches today with a huge effort from everyone involved🤝

On top of our player pride! this is also a testament to our incredible volunteer officials who put in the mahi behind the scenes to plan and prepare these opportunities, and to our amazing parents and whānau for getting the kids there and supporting them. We know times aren’t easy right now, so that support means even more. Well done everyone!

This is just the beginning, count down is on to the 2026 season kick off 🐾🌹

Massive congratulations to all of our Rosebuds who took part in our annual preseason academy 🌹🙌

Predominantly made up of our U12, U13 and U14 grades this year, while many of our older girls were out representing across multiple spaces and codes, we are so proud of the depth coming through our pathway.

This academy has been a strong and sustainable space for many years now, and it’s evident with the many Rosebuds now coming through the pathway and debuting this year in our senior Championship and Premiership teams 🥹❤️💙

12 weeks. 23 sessions.
Effort. Attitude. Commitment. Sisterhood.
That’s what this academy has been built on, and our girls showed up for each other every step of the way.

A huge thank you to our incredible Rosebuds team officials for delivering such a strong programme, and especially to our Girls Pathway Lead, Luisa Avaiki, for your leadership and dedication. Without you all, these opportunities simply wouldn’t exist.

Go well this season our RB girls 🫡 🌹
