SOUTH WARS 10:

First we would like to thank Felise and the team South Auckland and everyone that pitched in to make the event dope.

Thank you to both our opponents, its always a blessing to be able to share the ring, and return to our families safely.

Thank you to our village, who continues to support us, our team mates that help prepare us for war and our families that sacrifice their time to allow us chase our dreams.

This night, we felt both ends of the spectrum, the glory of victory.. and a lesson in defeat.

Thank you to Santos Newton-Raj and julzey__ns for stepping in the ring.

Looking forward to the next South Wars

On fathers Day weekend, we celebrated Sifu Phillip Lam’s 80th birthday by proudly representing the name he gave us — Ghostfist.

Daniel Ruwhanga defeated a strong and dangerous Aidan Conradie to become the new ISKA Pro Super Welterweight NZ Champion.

To main event Sifu’s final show made this one incredibly personal for us.

Before we had a gym, we were coaches training our students in a park. Sifu believed in us when we had nothing but a dream and gave us the honour of carrying the Ghostfist name.

We will never take that for granted and will continue to honour Sifu, every time our fighters step out to war.

The belt belonged to Daniel, but the night belonged to honouring Sifu Phillip Lam.

For always believing in us, for the legacy you created, thank you 🙏🏾

Congratulations Daniel. An amazing display of technique and skill against a very strong opponent. More than anything, happy to see you find your passion again for this sport.

To our village,

From our kids’ classes and general classes to our fight team, every single person plays a part in what we’re building.

To the families and partners who understand the commitment this journey takes — thank you for the time you give up, the sacrifices you make, and for allowing your loved ones to spend countless hours training, growing and building with us.

And to everyone who supports us, stands beside us and believes in what we’re creating — thank you

Happy Father’s Day, and Happy birthday Sifu ❤️

A huge thank you to Paramount Muay Thai for providing a fantastic platform for our athletes to perform and showcase their skills.

Persaies delivered a strong performance against a tough opponent, earning a well-deserved unanimous decision victory.

Isaiah captured his third title, putting on a clinical performance and securing a TKO against a very game opponent.

Respect to all of our opponents and their gyms for sharing the ring with us. Iron sharpens iron.

Lastly, thank you to our teammates, family, friends, and everyone who continues to support Ghostfist. None of this happens without you. We appreciate every message, every cheer, and every person who stands behind us.
