Round 4 of the Delta Sim Sports

A great round of racing. Qualified on the front row, P2.
Race 1 - A tight fight and some nail biting moments. We go bumper-to-bumper racing to the line. Few minor errors but we come home in P4.

Race 2 - Reverse grid. A slow start off the line and a hairy moment at the turn 6, we drop back a few spots. Now the fight to the line. I manage to make a few moves and get back up but the gap is just to much, although I did close it down and manage to secure P3. A podium finish in the round.

Wednesday we head into Round 5 @ Adelaide.

Round 2 of the Delta Sim Sports GR86 Championship Season 3.

Oran Park - What a fun track. Flowing sections and track edges that require to be hit to extract lap time.

Race 1
Qualified 12. A solid start, some close racing, a few minor incidents as some drivers are still getting the hang of these cars and the drivers in the field. We finish in P8, with a Top 10 reverse grid for the Feature.

Race 2
Starting on the front row I had a great start and the first 2 corners we were side-by-side. Some bumper cars being done, but we made it through lap 1. Lap 2 I took the lead and it was a tough one to keep. Come VSC and on the restart I made a good jump. A small mistake lost me my edge over the pack. An insane battle for P1 was on, but unfortunate side contact during hard racing and I find the wall. Quick repair and then the fight back. We end the night in P12.

Wednesday we head into Round 3 @ Virginia.
