Good luck to our friends at both Waitakere Magpies and North Shore Tigers in the Auckland AFL Grand Final today.

Great building season from Mt Roskill Saints making it to prelim final last week, but nudged aside by the ever exceptional Tigers.

Big props to Player Coach Alastair Maisey, who also took out the AAFL best and fairest award last Sunday and skipper Logan Toomer for all their work behind the scenes this year and getting our new players up to speed, as well as all others who have helped around the club committee.

Love a game at Uni Blues FC well played. Mt Roskill Saints push through to the semis on a single point.

Great effort from everyone, against the reining premiers. We showcased what we can do, winning the 2nd and 4th quarters, but North Shore Tigers showing their class and pulling away in a dominant 3rd quarter.

We'll turn our attention to next weekend's game against Waitakere Magpies at War Memorial Park.

Great first half from the lads, but Uni Blues FC too strong in the second leaving us with a hard to swallow 28-44 loss. Back to training Wednesday before Howick Hornets AFL and the Grand Final social on Saturday.

Bring on Round 3. Another big game ahead and a great opportunity to put some points on the ladder
