Last month some of our junior and intermediate swimmers went down to the mighty Waikato to represent our club at the Swimming Waikato Junior Championships 2023. Many PB's were smashed!, medals achieved and ribbons gained. Overall a very exciting and rewarding weekend for our swimmers. Thank you to our swimmers parents and families that got them down there and thank you to Coach Michael for coaching our swimmers to do their best!🏊🏊‍♀️

Congratulations to our club members who swam for their schools last week and did well to qualify to represent the Cental Zone and Eastern zone swimming champs, at the Auckland Interzone swimming champs today. They did well to come in the top 8 and top 10 of their respective events today against the best of the best year 7 and 8 school competing swimmers from all over Auckland.

They did their schools and our club proud. Thank you to their coaches and their families who push them to achieve.

We are asking that you complete a Swimmer Participation survey (Link Below) to help us better understand what you love about swimming but also areas that for you are a bit yea, nah!

We are seeking responses from as many of our Swimming Waikato members as possible. Where parents are completing the survey, we would ask that you do so with your child's input

The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete and includes a mixture of multiple choice and open-ended questions. Your feedback is important to us so please do take some time to share your views

Insights will be included into a number of additional fact-finding programs we are currently engaging in, these will ultimately support our future Participation Strategies

A few of our swim club members represented their schools at the the Papatoetoe annual interschool competition last week...their results speak for themselves! 🖤🏊‍♂️🥇💪❤️

Great to have some of our swimmers attend the Manurewa Summer Meet last Saturday. A few nerves at the beginning but a great day for all. A few PB's achieved and lots of nerves overcome with this being the first Meet for some of our swimmers. Thanks to the coaches for their hard work with our kids. Thanks to our sponsor Pacific Homecare for our swish looking Tshirts and thanks to Sdetrk for printing these for us. Thanks to our parents and supporters. And thanks to our kids for their awesome effort.

ALL council-operated pool and leisure centres and Kauri Kids will remain closed Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 February 2023.

All memberships and swimming lessons have been suspended until and including Tuesday 14 February 2023.

Even though we were unable to go ahead with our Summer Carnival Swim Meet last week due to the flash floods in Auckland, we are grateful to our sponsor@ Pacific Homecare for their continued support. This morning our club managed to donate our non-perishable goods that were purchased for our swim meet to one of the Flood Evac centre's in Mangere - a neighbouring suburb that provides some of our talented swimmers.
