⚽ SAE SPORT — OUR FIRST TOURNAMENT! 💙

A special little milestone in the SAE journey…

This weekend our players are heading over the Harbour Bridge for the Auckland Champions Cup — our very first tournament! ⚽

For many of our kids, it will be their first tournament too. More than the results, it’s about having a go, growing in confidence, supporting each other and creating some great memories together.

💙 Send our players some love and best wishes as they head into their first tournament!

Our players have worked hard and achieved so much:

💪 Building football skills, confidence, teamwork and healthy habits

🏀 **BASKETBALL TASTER SESSION – NEXT WEEK!**

SAE Sport is excited to be working with Jeremy and his team @ **BNZ Breakers** to bring a Basketball Taster Session to our local tamariki! 🙌

Come along, have some fun with **Breakers coaches**, learn some basketball fundamentals and get a taste of our 5-Week Basketball Fundamentals Programme coming in Term 4.

⚽ HATRICK IS BACK… AND HE HAS THIS WEEK’S CHALLENGE!

Our SAE players have already met Hatrick 👀⚽ — now he’s ready to get to work!

Each week, Hatrick will bring our players a fun SAE Skills Challenge that connects with what we are learning at training.

🎯 THIS WEEK’S SKILL: JUGGLING

WALT – We Are Learning To:
⚽ Learn the fundamentals of juggling and controlling the football.

Why is juggling important?
It helps develop:
👣 Touch & coordination
⚽ Ball control
⚖️ Balance
💪 Confidence with the ball

HATRICK’S CHALLENGE

Start with ONE TOUCH + CATCH.

Once you've got it, try:
2 touches → catch
3 touches → catch
Then keep building!

How many can you get? 👀⚽

Parents, encourage your player to practise for a few minutes during the week. Take a quick video of them having a go and share it in our group so we can celebrate their progress together.

Remember — it's not about being the best. It's about having a go, practising and improving.

CREATE – Try and develop the skill.
CONNECT – Practise with your whānau or friends.
CONTRIBUTE – Share your challenge and encourage someone else.
