Tomorrow afternoon’s Kennards Hire Game of the Round is going to be CRUCIAL! 😥😥😥

Mahurangi Rugby Club will host Bays Rugby - East Coast Bays for what might be the most important match of the season so far! 👀

A win for East Coast Bays (and a win for Northcote) tomorrow would secure Bays’ qualification for the knockout stages of the Premier 1 competition. They will remain 4th on the table regardless of the result.

As for Mahurangi, this match is do-or-die. They’ll need to defeat North Shore in their final match of the season to make the knockouts, if they can’t win tomorrow afternoon. A win tomorrow would elevate them to three wins this season, giving them a crucial tie-breaking opportunity for their club.

We enjoyed a great evening of reintroducing T1 Rusty Rugby for the 2026 season last night! It was wonderful to see a mixed range of experience levels enjoying World Rugby’s newest format of the game, as we enjoy year two of this social grade’s expansion! 🥳🤝
