Last Friday was the final night of our touch module. We closed off with prizegivings for each of our grades. We also ended with an incredible Cook Island performance from one of our teams. We were extremely lucky to have been an audience to such a wonderful group.
The purpose of this module has always been about bringing our community together. Itโs been successful in doing that. Weโve had some challenges but have tried to work pragmatically to address them. We appreciate that our community have been understanding.
Thanks to all those who have supported the Auckland Marist Touch initiative this season. Thank you to all of the volunteers who made every effort to make it work. Without our volunteers we would not have been able to meet the needs of our community. Thank you to all of the teams and individuals who have remained patient and loyal to our purpose.
Weโve been humbled by the continued support of our community. We have learnt a lot from this season and will make sure that we continuously improve. Your continued support is imperative to this modules success.
For those looking to join (or continue) the Auckland Marist club during the winter season, preseason is beginning early in the new year. Seniors start on the 14th of January and the First Junior muster is on the 14th of February.
