A great weekend away at Waikato Show Hunter. Taupo turned on the weather which was hot and windy.
Romeo (Weiti Bel Air) was a star again placing in all his classes except the last one where I made a mistake.

Last weekend we headed off to Brookby Show Hunter and apart from the weather, had a great weekend.
Highlights being winning the Equitation on Saturday, coming second in the Handy Hunter Special and on Sunday winning the Handy Hunter Championship.
So grateful to Kristin Cato for giving me the ride on Romeo (Weiti Bel Air).

It was maybe one of those weekends where i should have stayed in bed at the first registered SJ show if the season at Woodhill Sands. Romeo (Weiti Bel Air) was a star but I let him down by losing my way in the 1m class. Still finished 4th. I’ll blame having the flu and it hailing on us for just that class 🤣⛈️

His new WeatherBeeta - New Zealand Tough Tec Jumping Boots and saddle pad stood up to the tough Woodhill conditions though. A quick hose and they were as good as new.
