Auckland Cricket is seeking Expressions of Interest from our community to join the Tāmaki Makaurau Māori Cricket Advisory Group. The Māori Cricket Advisory Group is being established to support and advise Auckland Cricket Association (ACA) on positive outcomes for tangata Māori participating in Cricket. It is established to support Māori Cricket outcomes across Tāmaki Makaurau and advise Auckland Cricket on Māori participation, development and engagement in cricket. Expressions of Interests are open until Sunday 10th May at 5pm.

March’s QBE Volunteer of the Month – and final recipient of the season – is Abhijit Khotkar from Eden Roskill Cricket Club.

As coach of the U11 girls “Super Stars”, Abhijit has created a positive, inclusive environment where enjoyment and development come first. His strong knowledge, clear communication, and focus on mindset, fitness, and teamwork have helped build confident, resilient players who love the game. Leading by example, he prioritises team culture over results while still guiding the team to an unbeaten season. Abhijit’s dedication, care, and commitment have made a lasting impact both on and off the field.

Behind the President Bash: The Effort That Made It Unforgettable-Powered by Teamwork, Driven by Passion. A big thank you to our wonderful Groundsman, Gamini, whose efforts truly made this event possible

We’re excited to launch our Junior Academy, starting with the Youth Pathway (U17–19) — a high-quality coaching programme designed for players looking to take their game to the next level.

Starting from 21 April, sessions will run every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00–8:00 pm at our indoor nets (13 Noton Road, Mount Roskill).

Programme options:
• Full Programme: $280
• Batting Only: $200
• Bowling Only: $200

Players in the full programme will also receive 4 additional team training sessions, with batting and bowling sessions tailored to individual skill sets.

Only 12 spots available — first come, first served. Registration closes on 19 April.

ERDCC is pleased to host the annual cricket contest between Tamil Eelam and Tamil Nadu teams at Keith Hay Park on 28th March 2026.

The seventh edition of the keenly contested Tamil Eelam vs Tamil Nadu Cricket Cup will be held this Saturday, 28th March 2026, from 10:30 AM onwards at Keith Hay Park.

Tamil Nadu and Tamil Eelam share a rich history, culture, and language. This annual cricket event is organised to celebrate and strengthen the special bond within our Tamil community.

We warmly invite you and your families to join us for a day of cricket, connection, and community spirit.

We look forward to seeing you all at the grounds this Saturday.
