With the new season just around the corner, this is a great opportunity for any parents, supporters or club members who would like to learn how to score a game — or simply brush up on the rules and understand what’s happening on the diamond.

Western Magpies Softball Club is gearing up for the 2026/2027 season and we’d love to see even more players and families join our Magpies whānau!

Whether you’re brand new to softball or already love the game, there’s a place for you at the Magpies. We cater for a range of ages and abilities, with a friendly, family-focused club atmosphere.

We’re a growing club based at Brains Park, Kelston, and we welcome new and returning players of all abilities.

From today until 14 September, every eligible purchase at Z Waikumete comes with an orange or blue voting token. 🟠🔵

CONGRATULATIONS KELSTON BOYS! 🏆

A huge congratulations to Kelston Boys’ High School 1A on taking out the 1A Grand Final with an impressive 27–15 victory!

What an awesome achievement for the boys and a fantastic result for our local Kelston community!

A massive congratulations to the players, coaches, management, whānau and everyone who has supported the team throughout the season.
