A huge congratulations to Nathan Grammer on an incredible achievement, winning the 2025 MotorSport New Zealand 1 Hour Endurance Championship for Class 4 & 5, while also earning selection into the 2026 Elite Motorsport Academy.

Coming from a long line of Auckland Car Club family members, it’s fantastic to see Nathan continuing that motorsport legacy and achieving success at such a high level.

This recognition reflects the hard work, dedication and progress he continues to show within New Zealand motorsport. We’re proud to see one of our own succeeding on the national stage.

Our latest Bob White Memorial Motorkhana series wrapped up with 6 epic, well-attended rounds - and we couldn’t have done it without all of you.

A massive thank you to every competitor who showed up and gave it their all. These events simply wouldn’t happen without your support.

To our incredible volunteers - Keith, Gavin, Brett, Francis, Aaron, Olga, Caitlin, and Craig - thank you for standing out there in all conditions without a single complaint. You truly are the dream team

Auckland Car Club is saddened to hear of the passing of John Windleburn.
John was a long, long time member of the club and a big supporter of motorsport on so many levels. Our sincere condolences to John’s family and friends and to all who knew John in the motorsport fraternity, of which there are so many.

Dual Car Sprints event has been canceled for this weekend. We simply did not have enough interest to run the sprints unfortunately 😕

Are you or someone you know interested in participating in Dual Car and Multi Car Sprints on the National track at Hampton Downs this coming Sunday?

Due to the cancellation of a race series, we have space for four sets of sprints on Sunday.

The opportunity to run ClubSport Sprints on the National track at a reasonable $300 entry fee does not come up very often. Here's your chance!

Due to the late notice, we haven't gotten the Supplementary Regulations approved yet but the event is in the MotorSport Calendar so you can submit an Expression of Interest. We will let you know when the entry forms are ready.

AUCKLAND CAR CLUB

Motorkhana is ON this Saturday! 🚗💨

Hi everyone — we’ve made the call to go ahead with the motorkhana this Saturday.

The current forecast shows the bad weather holding off until the evening, so we’ll be well finished before it arrives.

Entries are still open via Sporty, or you can simply enter on the day.

This is a fun, relaxed event for all ages — no special clothing or safety gear required. Almost any car can take part, as long as it’s up to warrantable standard (just no knobby tyres). It’s a great chance to test your driving skills on cone-marked courses across a grass paddock.

📍 Location: 31 Kern Road

Timetable:
7:30am – Gates open
8:00am – Documentation & sign-in
9:00am – Drivers briefing + course walkthrough
Competition starts after briefing
2:00–3:00pm – Event finishes

There is a limit on entries, so we recommend arriving early to secure your spot.

💰 Entry Fees:
$35 – Non-members
$30 – Auckland Car Club members

Entries and payments can be made on the day.

The event will be held at 31 Kern Road, Ramarama.

Entry fee is $35 for non-Club members and $30 for Auckland Car Club members.

Great effort, everyone ! Looking forward to our next one on Saturday, 11 April 2026 - 31 Kern Road, Ramarama. We will be watching the weather closely and will be advising of any changes on Friday.
