Grazie Sardegna! From the atmosphere in the Race Village to the action on the racecourse, the food and culture, morning runs and evening strolls, to learning (a bit of) the language 🤌 and watching flamingoes and dolphins. Cagliari was the backdrop of a spectacular regatta and a fantastic host. Grazie mille!

Cagliari delivered. The Preliminary Regatta Sardinia produced everything AC40 racing promises: tight crosses with barely any margin, daring manoeuvres, splashdowns, and many lead changes across the fleet.

Emirates Team New Zealand finished runner up at the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup Preliminary Regatta Sardinia, behind Luna Rossa on their home waters and in front of their passionate home crowd in Cagliari.
Luna Rossa won the regatta in front of a frenzied home crowd. Congratulations to Luna Rossa.
