The height adjustment actuator coupled with one or two lift assist spring cartridges, means small children and grown ups can effortlessly adjust the height of the rim between 5’-10’. Note height adjustment is not limited to a series of increments, when you stop turning the actuator handle the unit supports itself at that height. You can simply padlock the actuator handle to a lug on the pole if you don’t want the rim height adjusted. There is a 3’-5’ overhang at the setting of 10’ depending on the unit you own. This allows for play under the backboard, just like the pros! The overhang is measured from the front face of the backboard to the front face of the pole. Backboard lower edge and pole padding is standard with both the ‘Clearview’ and ‘H-Frame’ models. This allows for aggressive play close to the pole and above the rim.
