Kings Arms Golf Club

Bad news everyone. Due to the expected terrible weather and likely resulting course conditions, our game at Waiuku on Sunday has been cancelled.

What a great game against Onehunga! The weather came to play and so did we!

Kings Arms won the day 348 to 341, with Nick Thomas winning the day for the Kings Arms section, followed by Johnny and Kevin.

The coveted Parrots Hat was won by Darryl!

Our next game is on Sunday 19th April at Waiuku, with a 09:30 tee time. Keep an eye out for the newsletter for the bus meetup and departure times.

I bit late with the notice but don't forget that we are playing against the Onehunga Working Mens Club this Sunday 15th March at Onewhero Golf Club!

We are meeting at the Suburbs RFC at 07:50 for an 8am departure.

Feel free to invite any mates along for a great day of golf.

What a fantastic day of golf at Wellsford on the 14th. Golf to finally have the day not rained out!

Well done to Kevin Baldwin for winning the day on 38pts.

The real winner though was Mark Calder with the parrot hat!

Unfortunately the decision has been made to cancel the 3 day away trip due to lack of numbers.
We will instead play on the 12th October at Ngaruawahia.

In case anyone didn't get the update, this Sundays (13th July 2025) game at Waiuku has been cancelled to the course being too waterlogged for carts, and more rain forecast.
I guess it's that time of year! Stay dry everyone!

Just to update everyone, this Sundays (15th June) game at Waikare has been Postponed to 10th August due to course conditions.

There will be NO game this Sunday.

Our next game is on Sunday 13 July 2025 at Waiuku.

Another great game last month at Mangawhai, playing for the Gin and Ice Cream Trophy which unfortunately stayed where it was this year again with Mangawhai coming out tops with a score of 31.94 vs the Kings Arms 29.92.

For the Kings Arms, Scott Crouth won the day with 39 points, Jack Cuthbert with 38, and Ben Telford with 36.

The coveted parrots hat was won by Garry Douglas this time!

Our next game will be on Sunday 15th June at Waikare, with assembly at the Suburbs RFC at 08:15 with the coach leaving at 08:30.
