The 10 clubs selected for the Yachting New Zealand and Hospitality New Zealand pilot programme have now been confirmed ⛵⚓

Over the next 12 months, clubs will receive tailored support including workforce training, licensing guidance, HR support and ongoing operational advice to strengthen their hospitality offering and long-term sustainability 📈🍽️

Thanks to all the sailors and their families for spending their long weekend with us at Wakatere. Westlake have swept the 2026 New Zealand Secondary Schools Teams Racing Championships at Whangarei Cruising Club over the weekend, claiming both the overall and girls titles. 🌊⛵️

After a mammoth 269 races, Westlake Boys High School edged out Auckland Grammar School to take the overall crown, with Macleans College finishing third.

WGHS - Westlake Girls High School continued their winning streak, securing their fourth consecutive girls' title. Nelson College for Girls and Whangārei Girls' High School rounded out the girls' podium.

Rangitoto College and Nelson College for Girls took out the silver and bronze fleets, respectively.
