Applications are now open for the new TQF Junior Development Fund! ๐
Earlier this year, we announced weโd be broadening our support across development categories in the Repco NextGen NZ Championship. Now the full details are confirmed.
The fund will provide $2,000 sponsorship packages directly to eligible young drivers, helping with some of the costs that come with racing at a national level.
To apply, drivers must be aged 21 or under as of 1 January 2027 and competing in one of these categories:
๐ SP Tools TA2 New Zealand Championship
๐ Summerset GT New Zealand Championship
๐ NZ Porsche Race Championship
๐ Nexen Tyres MAZDA RACING SERIES
Their category must also be contesting at least four rounds of the 2026/27 Repco NextGen NZ Championship.
โWe know how hard it can be for young drivers to find the money to stay in motorsport, so the TQF Junior Development Fund gives us another way to help those already out there competing,โ says TQF Trustee Josie Spillane.
This adds to our ongoing support of young Kiwi talent, including the TQF GR86 Shootout, which recently saw 14-year-old Miles Baker earn a $54,000 support package and finalist Nieko Scoles receive $20,000 towards his 2026/27 Bridgestone GR86 Championship campaign.
