The entire IYC faculty got together at Matariki in Kanchan’s house to celebrate her passing her certification Level 1. She cooked scrumptious Indian food (assisted by Megan) that we ate with great appetite after an intense backbend class. 🙏🫶🏽🧘♀️We walked away full to the brim and very happy.

In a General class we need a lot of preparation for the backbends. This morning the student did deep lateral extensions in order to open the side ribs and armpits. Welcome to the week of backbends at IYC 🙏

At IYC we dedicate a different day every week to the teaching and practice of the 4th limb of Yoga, being Pranayama. Depending on the level of class the practice differs according to the student’s ability. Here the advanced class students are practicing digital Pranayama. 🙏🧘♀️
