While most sailing around Tฤmaki Makaurau was cancelled today due to strong winds, the sailors attending the NZIODA Optimist Camp in Whangaparฤoa were still out on the water making the most of the conditions.

KYC was proudly represented by 10 keen optimist sailors and coaches Sean and Rowan, who spent the weekend developing their heavy-weather sailing skills alongside sailors from clubs across the country.

A fantastic effort from everyone involved. Well done team KYC!
