1st fights for The Foundry for 2026 this weekend at the ABA for the NZ Youth trials.
Georgiy got a good win with a game opponent from the South Island. This puts him in the best position to represent NZ this year at middleweight in the Under 19s Youth NZ team.🥇
LJ had a tough day in there taking on the current NZ 80kg youth champion fighting hard till the end. We will go back to the drawing board and bounce back! 👊😤
Shoutout to the lads coming and supporting the boys in their fights. 🤝
Great the season is back in motion for 2026, many more fights to come! 🥊

Was a great year for The Foundry Boxing Club. 3 events, 54 fights for our boxing team and another year bringing our community closer together. ⚒️

Last Friday we celebrated another year of The Foundry Boxing Club, but also said goodbye to one of the gym’s OGs, Mikey Helg, whos heading over to Australia to start the next chapter of his life. 👊
One of our original trainers, Mikey brought the tunes, the vibes, and the energy to every class. He was also one of our original fighters, our first pro, first title holder of the gym and leader of the boxing team. He set the standard and always pushed those around him to be better. 🙌
Thanks for everything youve done over the years, and all the best for whats next across the ditch. Youl be missed brother. ❤️
