Synit is a NZ specialist saltwater, custom fishing rod manufacturing company. All our rods are built by hand, so each rod is of the highest quality. Why?

Synit- pronounced "sin-it" - was founded in 2006 by the late Tiny Coe (Norman Coe). The name Synit comes from 'Tiny's' name spelt backwards. Not only was he dislexic, he knew his rod building back to front. With the untimely and tragic passing of Tiny in 2009 this small company was reduced to only two members. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!

To our valued customers,

It is with heavy hearts that we must inform you all, that due to personal reasons, Synit will cease trading this year.

We will continue to take orders up until 31st of March 2018. Any orders must be paid in full and build time frames can be discussed before any purchase is made.

This is a very difficult decision that the Synit team has been faced with.

Over the past nearly 12 years, we have met some incredible people and manufactured some outstanding rods, both in performance and cosmetic appearance. It is unfortunate that our dream of setting new benchmarks in the industry has had to come to an end.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers over the years, and everyone who has contributed behind the scenes to Synit’s amazing journey.

Tight lines to you all!
Graeme & Cj.

Win your very own Matanza LCM!

This Matanza LCM is built on one of our popular Matanza series blanks which has been extended to 8Ft, giving it more reach when casting.
The Matanza LCM is a 2pc dedicated casting rod. casting weights between 10-45gm, and rated for PE0.5-PE1 braid.
The rod joins at the butt just above the foregrip, Configuring a 2pc rod this way eliminates the sheer point a traditional 2pc that is joined above the first guide has, and makes the rod feel and perform like a 1pc.
The Lucky winner will receive this beautifully Hand-crafted fishing rod, which is fitted out with quality Fuji components.
