Dance exams give students a meaningful goal to work towards - and achieving that goal can be a huge confidence boost!
Preparing for an exam also encourages discipline, focus, and commitment - valuable life skills that extend far beyond the dance studio.

As 2025 comes to a close, let’s rewind a year packed with passion, progress, and powerful dancing at PSOD.

JAN & FEB — New year, new faces, fresh goals, back in the studio and ready to GO 💪🏼

MARCH — Competition season launched… and we hit the ground running 🏆

APRIL — Studio training + APDA filming + NYPA nominations + out-of-town comps = FULL STEAM AHEAD 🚀

MAY — APDA Unite, competitions everywhere, and more NYPA nominations rolling in ✨

JUNE — 8️⃣ newly qualified dance teachers, open classes buzzing, comps and group training in full force 🔥

JULY — School holidays? Yes. Slowing down? Never. Competitions kept us moving 💃

AUGUST — APDA x Team NZ rehearsals, APDA Exams, and final Solo Seal exams. BIG milestones unlocked 🔓

SEPTEMBER — Sydney for ADF! APDA x Team NZ performances and dancers lighting up the stage 💥

OCTOBER — NYPA TIME ✨ Stunning performances from our soloists and senior dancers 👏

NOVEMBER — Countdown to showtime! Full studio rehearsals, costumes, and photo days in full swing 🎭

DECEMBER — SHOWTIME 🎉 Christmas in the Park + senior filming to close out an incredible year 🌟

From competitions and open classes to exams and endless studio hours, 2025 was massive. We farewell our beautiful graduating seniors and cannot wait to get back into the studio for an even bigger 2026.
