Stillness in Movement

Yoga is a powerful tool to create space in body & mind. It brings ease of movement, provides comfort, strength & vitality to the body.

A school, teaching haṭha yoga in the Nath tradition as guided by my teachers Sundernāth & Emma ☀️🌙 🔱
Classes, Private Tuition, Courses & Workshops ✨
Community & Sādhanā 💫 It gives us peace of mind, guides us back to our centre, helps us reach our full potential & lightens our hearts. Martina has practised yoga for many years and is an experienced teacher. Her accessible approach, supports & encourages students to find their own innate wisdom within. From her Auckland based studio she teaches regular weekly yoga classes, offers private tuition and runs workshops.

“I am not an individual; I am an integral part of the cosmos”
-Tui Ātua Tupua Tamasese Ta’isi Efi

Rest in Peace Sadesh Natali 🕊️
This quote shared in conservation yesterday after the service to celebrate your life, with one of your Physio buddies and pallbearers Samoan chief (mātaI)Toleafoa Jordan Salesa resonated with me and has parallels in yogic philosophy.
Much love to your beautiful family Kavita Maalika 💞

Today, Wednesday 23rd 12:05 here in Auckland/Tamakimakaurau downunder in the southernhemisphere with this Sunday 28th, when clocks an hour 🕰️

What are the signs of for you?
For me it is the dawn chorus, crisp morning light, rapid growth in the garden, the colour of blossoms popping up everywhere and the spring equinoxial winds… be slow to take those winter layers off, and keep your hat & scarf near🧣

•Vernal Equinox
• Koanga
• Equal day and night ⚖️
• Balanced energies☯️

📷 This great photo by was gifted to me for my 50th by Ange Hankins 🙏🏻
Image seems to represent spring, though our Harakeke is not in flower yet. It is usually in full bloom fittingly around my birthday in mid Spring, have been loving seeing the Tuis enjoying the other blossoms that are already out.
