NZ based fashion designer Lela Jacobs' inspiration comes from the personal rather than the public domain, creating timeless garments, each with a story. The designs intend to be thought provoking, versatile and highly wearable through inquisitive, challenging, technical pattern making and experimental silhouettes. These are executed in luxurious and high-end fabrics valu

Black init.

The colour of certainty.
The colour of not having to think twice.

A long coat.
A soft dress.
A scarf that becomes a blanket.
Gloves, hats, layers, and all the small rituals that arrive with winter.

Possum, silk, and merino in their darkest mood.

Because some things never need reinventing.

Black init.

Heads up.

A new arrival of possum hoods, gloves, and winter layers — soft warmth for colder days ahead.

Light to wear, easy to live in, and quietly comforting in all the right ways.

Terracotta silk.
Soft armour.

The Lollies collection in burnished earth tones — somewhere between clay, caramel, and late afternoon light.

Soft structure.
Playful proportion.

The Lollies collection explores silhouette through lightness — crumpled silk, softened tailoring, and unexpected shape. Pieces that hold form, then fall away from the body.

There’s a sense of dressing up here, but with ease.
A little theatre. A little irreverence.

Lollies —
framed by
and at The Keep.

Dupion silk, shoulder pads,
and a little drama.

Dusk.
Ash.
Terracotta.

Ease, with a sense of occasion.

The lolly jar never looked more enticing.

Lollies —
for the lovers of Dupion silk and shoulder pads.

A very special project for me,
as an ’80s baby raised on colour, shape, and a little drama.

Each jacket is one of a kind —
finished with hand-painted shoulders
and vintage thread detailing.

Dusk.
Ash.
Terracotta.

Ease, with a sense of occasion.
