What a beautiful Autumn morning!

Bella Rakha hosted the filming of a tv series earlier this year - Camp Be Better. We joined the cast & crew and all their friends to watch the premier episodes at a special screening tonight. Catch it on TVNZ+ from Thursday, to see our lovely property featured as the camp location. 😀

Bella Rakha translates to 'The beauty of life' - this was affirmed again this morning on my walk. The misty monochrome web of branches and webs greeted me along the driveway. Feeling lucky to be here . . . once again

The magic of a sunrise with the mist settling over the land. I got distracted on my morning walk today, and went for a wee photo shoot.

Autumn is here, so an updated cover photo is in order. The colours have started, the leaves are dropping....magic time of year.

The hall is looking lovely with all the flowers out around it. May need to bring the hayfever remedies . . . so much pollen in the air.

Spring is well and truly here. Our lovely cherry tree (pictured above) has dropped it's blossom, but the magnolias are blooming and the kowhai is heavy with it's golden bells. We have replanted the area beside the stone steps in front of the hall. The grasses were taking over and we couldn't see our curvy steel fence anymore. This will look much more inviting to walk down and explore the grounds, as we head into summer, and the ground continues to dry out after our crazy wet year.
