Cyclone Vaianu Update for Sunday 12 April

All The Y North centres are currently planned to remain open on Sunday 12 April.

Auckland is under an Orange Alert, and Auckland Council has advised it is safe for services to continue operating at this level.

We are monitoring the situation closely. If the alert level moves to Red, our centres will close in line with official guidance to keep everyone safe.

We’ve got 7 awesome teams locked in for our Sunday Social Mixed Basketball League—but we need just ONE more team to complete the lineup!

Our spa pool will be closed on Wednesday 10/09 for contractor works and maintenance, reopening Thursday 11/09. Additionally, our spa backwash will be permanently moved to Wednesday nights moving forward - meaning the spa will now be open right up until close on Mondays🙂

Due to a change in our contractor's schedule, the spa will now be open on Monday. There are still works due to be done, however these will be at a later date - watch this space for updates 🙂

On 04/08/2025 (Monday) our spa will be closed from 7.30am for the remainder of the day for urgent plantroom work. The spa will be due to reopen again on the 05/08 🙂

And it’s open! It’s been a journey, but the sauna is back operating, and just in time for a cold, wet and windy weekend! 🙂

Shout out to our Auckland Council contractor team who hustled to make this happen before the weekend 🫡

Aquatics users: Unfortunately the sauna is still out of action. However, we have been notified it will be operational tomorrow 🙌 We will have an update here when it is open 🙂

Hey Team, unfortunately, due to a fire alarm malfunction, our sauna and steam room are currently closed for the long weekend.

We hope to have these back up and running by Wednesday the 23rd of April.
