Congratulations OM Fantails coach Paige Cross!

Paige started football with Onehunga Mangere First Kicks and was one of the first to win the OM Valamaka Family Girls Achievement Trophy as a junior player. Paige now she leads by example as a coach for our OM NZF Milo Fantails girls program on Monday nights.

Congratulations to OHS Girls’ 1st XI footballer Paige Cross, who has been selected to represent Samoa in the U16 national squad!

Paige has had a strong season with OHS, helping the Girls’ 1st XI finish second in their league and earn the opportunity to play for promotion. She also plays club football for Auckland United.

Paige will now travel to the Solomon Islands for three weeks to compete in the OFC U16 World Cup qualifiers. Samoa will face Tonga, New Caledonia and the Solomon Islands.

“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to represent Samoa, get some solid playing time, and get a real feel for what it’s like to play at the national level.”
