Super Pups Wrap Up 💚🤎

Another great performance by the Super Pups this weekend in our away game at the home of the Seagulls.

The Super Pups’ defence was on fire again, managing to complete full tackle sets and force a number of turnovers. Our attacking skills were also on point throughout the game.

Thank you to all the parents for travelling to our away games. We look forward to seeing you all again this Thursday at training.

It was a cold Friday night clash against New Lynn. The Stags brought strong footwork, tough middles and great teamwork, but our Hounds matched them with courage and determination from start to finish.

🏆1st POD went to Avery for an outstanding all-round performance. His strong runs gave us momentum and his defence set the tone all night.

🏆2nd POD went to Xavier K for his energy and communication through the middle. His effort kept the team organised in attack and defence, and he worked hard all game.

🏆3rd POD went to Josh, who was unstoppable with powerful runs and fearless carries that kept the Stags on the back foot. He capped off a great game with some well-earned tries.

Massive effort from the whole Greyhounds squad tonight. Plenty to be proud of and lots to build on.

Played the Richmond Bulldogs at Sunnynook Park on Friday night.

It was a great night for footy and Richmond really turned up to play.

It was a tight contest at half time at 3 tries to 1 but then the Hound Dogs turned up the heat 🔥 in the second half and took control of the game.

Thank you to Richmond for the great game and for making to trip over the bridge on a Friday night.

Young pups played Glenora Bears yesterday and they all played outstanding. There were some awesome tries scored by Kahu and Kai.

Each week we are noticing more and more improvement as the pups get more confident in the game.

Yesterday the whole team got POD and instead of certificates the coach did a big lolly scramble to celebrate everyone playing great.
