A few weeks ago, some of our members traveled to Papamoa to attend a 3 day North Island Gasshuku (training camp) and trained with some amazing instructors.

And we're back on campus! After 5 or so years of different training locations we are now training in the wonderful Hiwa (new University of Auckland Recreation Centre). It's nice to have wooden floors and mirrors again! https://uoa-karate.club

Formal training is over for 2024 (although everyone will still be practicing daily of course). For variation, we trained at the Auckland Domain. It is interesting training on an uneven surface and in street clothes :) Happy Holidays everyone!
