This is a great opportunity for a youth member to gain board experience that is passionate about netball, leadership, and able to provide a youth’s perspective for rangatahi and tamariki in our community.
Netball Waitākere are looking for a motivated, creative, and enthusiastic young leader to join our Board as the Youth delegate to share their thoughts on what our rangatahi and tamariki needs are!
This is your opportunity to have a voice, share ideas, help shape the future of netball at Waitākere, and represent youth perspectives within our netball community.
💬 What you’ll do:
🏐 Share ideas and feedback on youth initiatives
🏐 Help plan events and activities
🏐 Develop leadership and teamwork skills
🏐 Represent the voice of rangatahi and tamariki in netball
🏐 Make a positive impact in the Waitākere community

Netball Waitākere Premier League – Round 2, Game 2 Review 🔥
Game 2 of Round 2 delivered everything — clutch finishes, ladder-shaking results, and one absolute thriller that came down to the final moments 👀
Premier 1 Results
GMR L&R survived a huge scare from TLT Netball, edging out a dramatic 52–51 win in one of the closest contests of the season so far. GMR L&R producing the Player for the Week!!
WCRN Prem bounced back strongly with a convincing 66–50 victory over GMR Majors, producing one of their most complete performances to date.
Game of the night belonged to Vipers Venom and Just Kruizin Karera, with Venom sneaking home 61–60 in an instant classic. A clutch finishing 20 seconds led by the experience of Marvels player, Mali Toleafoa. The game was neck and neck for the whole 60 minutes with High intensity, momentum swings, and pressure netball at its best 🔥
Premier 2 Results
JK Karikitea continued their strong campaign with a solid 71–63 win over Vipers Caustic in another entertaining attacking battle.
Rangitoto Netball were too strong for Pasifika Stars Malosi, claiming a 63–53 victory with consistency across all four quarters.
Unfortunately, the GMR Captains vs Vipers Helix match was unable to be completed and has been recorded as a Loss by Default for Captains, putting a spanner in their clean run to date.
Round 2, Game 2 Takeaways
• Vipers Venom prove they can win the close ones
• GMR L&R continue to grind out results under pressure
• JK Karikitea and Rangitoto Netball keeping the Premier 2 race wide open
The competition is only getting tighter, and every result is starting to matter as teams battle for momentum heading deeper into the season.

Just royal levels of sleep and snacks. 😴🌯🍔🍕
Players, Coaches, Managers and Umpires are encouraged to practice their most important skill instead… rest and relaxation 🫶
