🏆🏉 GLOBAL GAMES RUGBY TOURNAMENT TAUPO! 🏉🏆

What a fantastic weekend of rugby in Taupō for our Bays teams!
Four teams travelled to Taupo this year with many games of rugby played and lots of memories made. 💚🖤💚

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to our J1 team, who were awarded the Taupō NZ Junior Rugby Festival Under 13s Restricted Team Champions 2026!

The festival is not just about the on field results….

Throughout the tournament, teams earn points for how they play and conduct themselves both on and off the field. Sportsmanship is one of the tournament’s four core values, so we’re incredibly proud that the team were awarded this year’s overall U13 grade winners!
🏆🤩🙌

A fantastic achievement and a true reflection of the team’s character, respect and spirit and an epic way to finish their time at Bays before they head off to college next year. 📚🏉

Manus Bezuidenhoudt & Pedro David did an exceptional job Coaching the team - thank you !
A massive achievement and one they can be incredibly proud of!

A huge thank you also to Esmari Bezuidenhoudt our Taupō organiser!
