Kia Ora Tatou to all our Waitakere Rugby Whanau, Families and supporters, during this lockdown period which has affected our season and community, I have been graciously supported by our club committee to volunteer as an essential worker at the Village Trust Foodbank providing thousands of food parcels across Auckland to many families and individuals in need❤, the extension of level 3 will no doubt put further burden across our community, Our club places families at the heart of all we do and how we operate in the community🥰.

JUNIOR PRIZEGIVING 2021

We will be having a live online Prizegiving presentation next Saturday the 9th of October - Time to be confirmed

We have taken into consideration the current covid 19 situation and have decided that the safest way to present the prizegiving is online. The team managers/coaches will be in contact with you to arrange the collection of the team jerseys soon so please make sure you have them ready. Once all the team jerseys have been received your team manager/coach will pick up the awards and team photos and distribute them amongst the team.

JUNIOR RUGBY SUPER 7's

The Junior rugby super 7's is still going ahead at this stage. The date is yet to be confirmed due to covid but we are hoping to kick off early November. We are looking for expressions of interest so if your child is interested in joining us this year please contact your team coach or manager.

REFEREE 7's - With 7's season fast approaching, we are in need of more 7's referees to bolster our referee stocks for this summer season.

If you love our game and want to be involved in 7's but can't play or don't want to play, are an ex or current player who wants to keep fit, stay involved in the game while also having a bit of fun as well, then 7's refereeing could be for you.

Great opportunities to expand your knowledge of the game, see rugby from a different side as well as challenging yourself in something new.
