Manukau Cruising Club

Prepare yourselves for an unforgettable day with the Mic Warriors, Rhythm Riders, Groove Drivers, String Slingers, and Beat Commanders as more than 25 talented musicians take to the stage throughout the day on Sunday 7th June.

Kicking off the Country Hoedown from 1pm will be Roger Skinner, Garry Betti, and Sam Lewis-Roberts. With an impressive wealth of musical experience and accolades between them, these accomplished performers are sure to have even the most reserved guests letting their hair down and enjoying the atmosphere.

Expect a day filled with outstanding live music, a warm and welcoming environment, delicious food, great company, plenty of fun, and refreshing drinks by the waterside.

The Silver Cadillacs are a talented duo renowned for their tight harmonies and engaging performances, delivering a blend of alternative country and classic cover favourites. Their distinctive musical style has earned them strong support from music enthusiasts and audiences alike at the many events they perform throughout the region.

A valued member of the Manukau Cruising Club, our MC for the Country Hoedown on Sunday 7th June is the wonderful Shannon de Connick.

Shannon is an avid sports enthusiast, Founder of Thunder Maidens, and a passionate supporter of numerous charity fundraisers. Her many interests and achievements include bodybuilding, social motorcycle riding, and being crowned Mrs NZ Divine Pageant Winner, along with many other talents.

Bringing vibrancy, fun, and inclusiveness to the stage, Shannon’s energy and enthusiasm are sure to make the Country Hoedown an event to remember.

AZ One

Colin and Bev are a dynamic duo who bring energy, enthusiasm, and a vibrant presence to every performance. Their repertoire features a variety of well-loved songs, including some great Kiwi classics that audiences know and enjoy.

Having performed together for many years, they continue to share their passion for music by delivering familiar favourites across a range of genres. Entertaining at events, community gatherings, and live gigs, AZ One consistently delights audiences with their warm personalities and uplifting performances.

Reflecting on their musical journey, Colin and Bev say they have been fortunate to meet many wonderful people along the way. They value the friendships they have made and enjoy sharing the joy, connection, and relaxation that music continues to bring to both themselves and their audiences.

Gone Fishing

The Manukau Cruising Club extends our sincere condolences on the passing of long-time member, Graham Coltman.

To Leon and family, we send our love and strength during this difficult time.

A special mention to Christine Anderson and Kerry McPherson, who fondly referred to Graham as their 2nd dad. Their close friendship will be deeply missed. May Graham rest in love .

Faavae Fetuao

Faavae always brings a touch of Elvis to the Manukau Cruising Club. His passion and dedication to honouring the King of Rock ’n’ Roll have earned him recognition in The World of Elvis Tribute Artists by Lee Jackson, alongside more than 300 Elvis tribute performers from around the globe.

Faavae was also a Top 10 finalist in the Elvis Down Under Contest and has appeared on national television’s Breakfast show. His love of music is truly infectious, and his charismatic performances have a unique ability to bring joy and energy to every audience.
