The biggest lie winter tells us:

“Future you will be more motivated.”

Future you is just as busy.
Just as tired.
And still waiting for the weather to improve.

The people who stay fit through winter aren’t more motivated than everyone else.

They’ve simply stopped waiting to feel like it.

Consistency beats motivation.
Every single time.

WINTER SUMMIT IS HERE. 🏔️

Winter is where most people lose momentum.

The mornings get darker.
The weather gets colder.
Life gets busier.

And suddenly the habits that felt easy in summer start slipping away.

That’s exactly why we’re running the Winter Summit.

From June 15th to July 25th, your goal is simple:

Show up.

Maintain 75% of your weekly sessions and you’ll earn an exclusive limited-edition AXO Winter Summit Hoodie.

No luck.
No draw.
No shortcuts.

Just consistency.

We’ll also be tracking a live leaderboard throughout the challenge, with the overall winner taking home dinner for 2 at .nz 🍷

The goal isn’t to be perfect.

The goal is to keep showing up when it’s easier not to.

As a Psychotherapist, Lexi spends her days helping people navigate anxiety, stress, overwhelm, and depression.

One thing that comes up time and time again?

Movement matters.

Not because exercise is a magic cure, but because it’s one of the most powerful and accessible tools we have to support our mental health.

When life feels overwhelming, when your thoughts are racing, or when everything feels too big to tackle, movement brings you back into your body.

It creates space.
It regulates your nervous system.
It helps you feel grounded again.

The challenge isn’t knowing exercise is good for us.

It’s finding an environment that makes it easy to keep showing up.

An environment that removes the intimidation, confusion, pressure, and barriers that stop so many people from being consistent.

Because often the hardest part isn’t the training itself.

It’s simply getting started.

And sometimes, moving your body is the first step toward feeling like yourself again.

Most gyms focus on the workout.

We focus on the person.

Knowing your name. Knowing your goals. Understanding your injuries. Tracking your progress. Coaching every rep. Creating an environment you actually enjoy showing up to.

Because fitness isn’t just about what you do for an hour.

It’s about having the right support system to keep showing up for years.

Does your current gym ticks the boxes?

Most people think explosive training is only for athletes… or that it’s dangerous.

But the reality is, power is one of the most important things we can train as we get older.

Your ability to react quickly, stabilise yourself, move efficiently, catch yourself when you trip, lift things confidently, and stay resilient all comes back to power and coordination.

The issue isn’t explosive training itself. It’s doing movements you’re not prepared for, with no guidance or progression.

At AXO, we coach movement first.
Then we progressively build strength, control, and power in a safe environment tailored to the individual.

You don’t need to be an athlete to train like one. 💪
You just need the right structure and coaching.

Leah explains it perfectly 👏

Meet Stefan!

Originally from Scotland, so there’s about a 50/50 chance you’ll understand everything he says during your session… but there’s a 100% chance you’ll leave smiling.

Behind the accent is a coach with heaps of experience, a genuine passion for helping people, and someone who actually cares about getting the best out of every member that walks through the door.

Stefan’s completed a marathon and 2 HYROX races, so whether you want to get stronger, fitter, move better, or just survive a conditioning session… he’s your guy 🤝

Just nod confidently if you can’t understand him. It’s what we all do.

Strength training doesn’t just change how you look.
It changes how you move, feel, perform… and yes, even your s*x life 👀

Better strength.
Better endurance.
Better mobility.
Better pelvic floor control.
Better blood flow.
Better confidence.

For both men and women, resistance training has been linked to improved energy, libido, performance, posture, hormone health, and overall physical function.

And let’s be honest… if you’re fitter, stronger, less sore, and can actually move properly without throwing your back out tying your shoes, your partner probably won’t complain either 😅

Most people think training is only about fat loss or aesthetics.
But one of the biggest benefits is simply improving your quality of life outside the gym.

Train for longevity.
Train to move well.
Train to feel good.
The rest is a bonus 💪

breaks down one of the biggest myths in strength training for women:

“If you lift weights and you’ll get bulky.”

The reality? Building significant muscle mass is incredibly difficult and requires years of very intentional training, high calorie intake, and training specifically like a bodybuilder.

Most women who strength train consistently don’t become “bulky.”
They become:
• Stronger
• Leaner
• More toned
• More confident
• More resilient as they age

Strength training is one of the best things you can do for your metabolism, bone density, hormones, posture, energy, and long-term health.

You won’t accidentally wake up looking like a bodybuilder. But you might wake up feeling stronger, healthier, and more capable than ever. 💪
